STARTING THE ENGINE
Vehicles With ManualTransmission
Note:Do not touch the accelerator pedal.
Note:Releasing the clutch pedal while theengine is starting will stop the enginecranking and return to ignition on.
1.Fully depress the clutch pedal.
Note:Vehicles with push button start: Brieflypress the button.
2.Start the engine.
Vehicles With AutomaticTransmission
Note:Do not touch the accelerator pedal.
Note:Releasing the brake pedal while theengine is starting will stop the enginecranking and return to ignition on.
1.Move the transmission selector lever toposition P or N.
2.Fully depress the brake pedal.
